Visiting New York: 360 Degree Overview of US Charity

We sent two teams visiting foundations and NGOs in the U.S., with the former focusing on impact investment and big data and the latter on application of innovative methods.

In terms of impact investment, we visited eight American organizations specializing in impact investment including Acumen Fund, Blue Meridian Partners, Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors and the ImPact. We discussed investment model, investment scale, organization selection, post-investment management and social impact.

Charity in China and America are very different. Through this visit, China and American charity organizations can learn from each other and seek chances for cooperation and development. We hope that this visit can be a starting point for further communication between Chinese and American charity organizations.
